Digital being a part of buyer’s journey, Essilor‘s Digital hub committee realized, they needed to move away from their nonuser friendly and technical microsites to a uniform website across regions.
They approached Valtech to help them have consumer friendly country websites for AMERA region – APAC, Middle East, Russia, and African markets. Without forgetting to have an homogeneous digital presence!
To develop a standard digital ecosystem
Essilor’s sites eco-system was fragmented with no links between their brands and hence Valtech built a custom solution using Drupal to the problem. 22 multilingual, uniform, user friendly country websites were developed for the AMERA region. These websites had enhanced user experience for content authors and editors for ease of content management. Other important features included:

- Responsive design
- Optimized for search engines
